On top of that, even a true original communicator looks different from what was seen in the episodes. This is because the show was filmed at a limited resolution, giving the prop a nice, leathery sheen that arose because the texture and gloss you'd see in person were blurred together. |

The Comm does look like an old JTK. It looks to be ABS plastic and the mid plate and antenna are wrong. Maybe I should bring some of my replicas down and see what I can get! :-) |
