Ouch.

I had X-rays this week too, but they didn't give me copies. (Turned out nothing was broken - I just set off gout attacks in both feet when I slipped on some ice a couple of weeks ago. They prescribed me some wonderful anti-inflammatories - I was able to go to my bowling league last night, and not only did I have no pain, I spared a 4-7-9 split and later, I spared a 3-6-7-10 split.)

Just got home from seeing Tim Minchin at 54 Below -- It was an awesome show! Really tiny, personal, cabaret venue (100-150-ish people), good wine, got to meet him and chat a bit before the show, and he was lovely, and I couldn't have asked for a better seat:

Moi, getting ready to enjoy:

Seeker, I love all of your pictures of you and your daughter. Your family is absolutely precious.

From last Wednesday:

Small shows are the best. I mean, sure, there is fun to be had at large ones as well, but always by far preferred the smaller venues. Not only is one much closer to the artist and the music, but the mood always seems to be better.

Was at a show of the group that my cousin used to be a part of (pretty sure they've since disbanded), audience about 70 people. We lifted the roof of that place with our good mood!

Oh and: tois est tres belle

Natalie Duran?

It was actually Warp Coil who got me to try climbing about a year ago. I highly recommend it - the first few times you'll be extremely sore (particularly in the forearms) but it's a fun way to stay in shape and you meet a lot of awesome people. The heights thing isn't a big deal because there's no real risk of ever falling on toprope.

Re: PICTURE POST II!

Had a 'photoshoot' with my cousin today, he mostly took pictures of me, he's got a really nice, fairly new camera- at least, new since I last saw visited. We took loads of pics but I don't want to spam up the thread, so I'll just post three:

yeah, I like her weirdness. I tried the climbing thing, i liked it alright, but there wasn't anyplace to do it regularly where I used to live, there probably is here, but i don't know where

Eh, what else is Facebook for? I've hardly posted anything else there for months.

But yeah, I'm sure he could do that.
