To be expected as he returns all the time LOL, need to have some older companions make an appearance. Sadly many are dead but there is still quite a few that could show up.

I'd have been dissapointed if Barrowman didn't show up...

Not so sure about Rory (unless it's a flashback)

Series 1 of Nu-Doctor Who and Children of Earth are the only times he's been used well. It doesn't help that John Barrowman is one of the most obnoxious people on television.

Not sure why they conflated the two. One is a direct confirmation from BARROWMAN!!!*, the other more of a passing comment.

*That's he's now backtracking on slightly on Twitter, no doubt after a word from BBC PR people...

I would hope Captain Jack Harkness comes back for the anniversary.

Hell, I'd be happy for him just to turn up at all. Wish Miracle Day had been a better success, then Torchwood could keep goin'...

Miracle Day kept him from appearing in A Good Man Goes to War... would have been better filler, than the standing around with the baby. There was River too.

Where did you see that? I saw "Another character is rumored to be returning" and then they went on to talk about the returning monster we already know about. I Read back over several paragraphs excepting "Character" to be a Companion
