Has anyone ever designed Tongo as a real world game?

Has anyone ever written up official rules for Tongo, or built a Tongo board? It seems like it may be the same kind of fun as Poker, only based on laissez-faire economics and fast paced.

I'd love to play real world Tongo. You could even make fake latinum strips that chime pleasantly when you clink them.

After a couple black holes I'm sure Tongo would be really fun.
