Re: Feline Follies

Still being fairly new to the board I wasn't able to look through the entire thread. I hope its okay for me to jump in and post some pics of my cats as well. I'm currently deployed so I miss my kitties alot. And my dog-dog too!

Panzer Krieg. This was when he was about 6 months old. He's about 19 months now so he's alot bigger!

Shade AKA Little Miss Kitty and Mycroft (the stripped one). Mycroft passed back in Sept 2011. He was 14 1/2 ys old. Loved that guy so much

Re: Feline Follies

Thanks! As a purebred Maine Coon we had to give him a first and last name for registry purposes and we aren't allowed to use our last name. So when we came up with Panzer we decided Krieg was a good last name for him. We generally only call him "Panzer" on a day to day basis.

I'd love to have a purebred Maine Coon someday. My cat is a rescue and has some Maine Coon in him, but you can't really tell to look at him. He's a little larger than your average cat and his hair is like a medium length rather than short or long, but that's about the only difference.

Also I want to see more pics of Junior!

Re: Feline Follies

All my pets over the years have been rescue with the exception of Panzer. For a very long time we had wanted a Maine Coon and after Mycroft passed away we realized Little Miss Kitty was lonely. We discovered a Maine Coon breeder only about an hour from Fort Bragg where we are stationed, so we looked into it and were lucky when we found Panzer.

Heh. Here he is, having an obsessive relationship with my house shoes. Yesterday, he decided that they were new best friends and dragged them around the room like teddy bear.

Your cats are gorgeous Sigokat! Panzer's tail is bigger than my (now deceased) female cat's whole body was!

Have you posted ant pics of your dog in that thread?...I think I'll go check...

Good grief, Auntie! You're lucky I don't live near you...I would be at your house constantly asking if I could just hold Junior for a few min utes. He's soooo gorgeous!

Shanndee, Thank you. Yes Panzer's tail is very very bushy. Its make's Little Miss Kitty look like she's got a rat tail

I didn't know there was a dog thread. I'll look for it and post a picture of Sally in there as well.

This cat has a hell of a 1-2 punch vs. the DVD tray.

He's so wonderfully fluffy! And possessive of those slippers.
