Re: Han Solo...(Possible Spoilers)
As a hardcore EU devotee though, I wouldn't mind if Ep VII had nothing to do with the Skywalker family. Star Wars is so much bigger than that.

Re: Han Solo...(Possible Spoilers)
I thought Fisher was much more convincing in The Blues Brothers.

Re: Han Solo...(Possible Spoilers)
If only Kelley could have played McCoy in 2009, but—he's dead, Jim.

Re: Han Solo...(Possible Spoilers)
There's no need for anyone of the original actors to pass the torch to younger ones. Just have the younger ones. Or just have the older ones. Or have both young and old in substantial roles, and simply fuck the torch.

Re: Han Solo...(Possible Spoilers)
What I don't want to see is some fanboy crap movie that tries to rekindle the past by regurgitating things that have already been done. Rather I want to see a continuation of the story with new characters and themes that tie nicely with those that have come before without treading over trampled ground. (How's that for mixed metaphors?) |

He might have been willing to play along to take down the Empire, but I just can't imagine him wanting to be the noble, upstanding leader forever. |
