Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams. On TV. Together.
For a second, I thought the name of the sitcom was Together. I'd love to tune in and see them lying in bed together discussing the details of each episode's plot, her head mashed into the Brillo pad growing out of his chest. Alas, not to be. She's playing his daughter.

And David E. Kelley is involved. Now I'm interested.

Wow!

How can this possibly fail?

One thing SMG is generally unappreciated for is her comedic timing.

Robin could be allowed to rely on his tired comic routines.

Now cast William Shatner and Patrick Stewart as the gay neighbors.

Not really familiar with Gellar's work, but the premise for this kind of sounds interesting.

I'll give anything Kelley writes a chance. And if I'd read that Williams and SMG were to co-star in a new show, I'd watch it too, regardless of who wrote it. So I'll be tuning in.

I would find that absolutely hilarious.

I dunno...Kelley quickly starts to once again fall back on his bad habits as a writer, drops and adds supporting characters on a whim, turns the show into legal dramady, refuses to rein in Williams' worst comedic instincts, climbs back up on his soapbox and gives us his 33d remake of 'LA Law?'

All while the network moves it around and/or slots it where it won't find an audience?

And throw in Kelsey Grammer as the conservative fellow who yells at them to keep the noise down Hah, this could be a whole show on its own!
