My roommate said I already sound better, but I'm in a kind of daunting place where I can pick up pretty much any stringed instrument and have the basics down immediately, but then I remember there's a shitload of technique to learn anad that actually takes work. I got all the basic chords memorized, and can even do some bar chords (something my small hands make very difficult on guitar). Fingering is easy for me too, because of my cello and violin training. But I have basically no strumming or plucking technique, as one pretty much never strums a cello...
