At the same time, officer thinking, SalvorHardin. You'll be an officer in four years, and have your own ship in eight.
I'll do it in 3.

As for the rest, they did say before the launch they would have missions that require you to visit locations physically. I also haven't seen any bugs so far, I hope I won't later.

"Required" to visit locations physically? Really? They said that upfront? Where's the attraction in that if you're hundreds or even thousands of miles away from those places?
I just thought the SF thing may be buggy because I assumed (silly me) that simply plotting the trip from your home to "Starfleet Academy" in Maps would be sufficient to complete the task.

Meh. Like my dad used to say, "What do you expect for free?"

Hmm, I'm about half an hour away from "Starfleet Academy" but even then, that's gas + bridge toll...there would need to be something pretty exclusive to make the trip...

I attempted to get to Vasquez Rocks in 1984 and 1992, but finally got there a few weeks ago.

"Where's the attraction?" Heaps!

Nice. But I do not believe that angle of the rocks is canon1!

Crap. The app is incompatible with my iPhone because it doesn't have a forward facing camera. Just shit.

apparently the Star Trek app is now available at the UK iTunes App store. Anyone spot it on UK Google Play or other countries yet?
Edit (and a few minutes after that):
@TrekMovie
getting reports the Star Trek app is available on Google Play and itunes pretty much everywhere now.

That's weird, I haven't even noticed it requiring that camera, only the back camera so far.

I don't think The Force is all that Close. JJ Directing Star Wars will not bring The Force to Trek

CumbyKhan looks like He's hiding a Klingon Spine under his shirt in the second pic.

Maybe that's why He's so tough... He's got Klingon Blood!
