Anyone heard any news on this? I thought Ford would only do the movie if he approved the script and the director.
If Ford's not in the movie, it doesn't matter what he thinks.

I, personally, am not okay with JJ, but apparently it doesn't matter what I think either...

Would anyone really want to see a 70 year old Han Solo?

Even Ford has said in other interviews " uh guys, I'm too old to do this" for other movies pitched to him

Did anyone really want to see a 65 year old Indiana Jones?

Apparently not, if you listen to complaints about Crystal Skull

At some point in Episode VIII he should say "I'm getting too old for this shit."

Only if he's teamed with a younger, slightly nuts Wookie as a partner.

But then, if you look at the world wide box office... apparently so...

For what it's worth, Indy has always been ten years younger than Ford's current age.

Still, if Ford is indeed saying "I'm too old to do this" to a lot of roles, what made him agree to return to an action hero he played in his younger days? I mean aside from the huge paycheck?
