Cloud storage question

Does the TrekBBS recognise mega.co.nz as a legit storage provider like iCloud, SkyDrive, DropBox, etc (which it claims to be)? Or is it viewed as a simple dirty filelocker website like MegaUpload?

Just want to make sure so I don't put my foot in it further down the track.

Please lock and close this thread if it's the latter.

Re: Cloud storage question

I wouldn't use the new Mega if it was the last choice on the internet. I don't support current copyright laws but I refuse to contribute so much as a penny to that piece of crap Kim Dotcom. He's not the "champion" the issue needs.

On the flipside, 50gb is the largest anyone is offering for free storage.

I don't think Trekbbs cares what you use. Why should it?

Re: Cloud storage question

Filesharing can't be discussed. Mega upload was a file sharing site.

Need to know if the new incarnation has been treated as such.

Re: Cloud storage question

Wait, file sharing can't be discussed?? I doubt that. Now, illegal file sharing, I could see that being a forbidden topic.
