Weetabix Motion Picture Poster

Hi there,
Back in the 70's my father, Gordon Archer, did the artwork for the Weetabix Star Trek promotion (he also did several others including the two Doctor Who promotions).

I have a collection of the cardboard figures but recently found someone selling a poster from the same promotion that I'd forgotten about. Unfortunately I missed out in buying it.

So my question is, has anyone got one of these posters they'd be willing to sell to me?

I will try to add a photo of the poster shortly.

Kind regards,

Jon Archer

Wow it's Jon Archer! Short for........ Jonathan Archer?

Sorry, I have nothing constructive to add. I just had to be the first to point out that obvious connection that you've probably heard dozens of times before. My apologies for being a nincompoop.

Also welcome to the forum! I would like to see that poster you speak of.

Ditto that. I'm looking forward to seeing an image of it when you can post it.

Probably a coincidence - Gordon Archer was indeed an artist who did work for Weetabix:

Weetabix? Bah, they only ever had free stickers inside, never any figurines.

Lol I'm well aware it isn't the "real" jonathan archer. I was joking.

I collected the character cards in the 70s. I never did get Uhura. I expect they are rotting in my dad's loft.

Jon,

The editors of a Dr Who based fanzine would like to talk to you about your father's work on the Weetabix material. Please contact me.

Best,

Shaqui
