Do Deer Antlers really have HGH in them? That's kind of weird.

I wish the media would go back to talking about... you know, THE GAME.... and not continue to speculate ad nauseum over whether or not Ray Lewis used "deer antler spray." I'm as sick of that story as I am the Manti Te'o non-existent girlfriend bullshit.

I just want to enjoy the Super Bowl.

hahaha, that's a good one, I don't think I've heard that before.
This was somewhat amusing.

Certainly at first. I'll give you that.

In addition to the other drivel, we also have 49er Chris Culliver making homophobic remarks, Dan Marino fathering a child out of wedlock with some ex-CBS employee he was banging behind the scenes, and the usual outrage over certain Super Bowl commercials judged to be either racist or sexist....

Oh well. At least the actual game itself should be full of excitement.

I'm actually looking forward more to the Puppy Bowl now.

But since it's a relatively local team for me- Go Ravens!

Jesus Christ, the grocery stores in Baltimore are an absolute zoo. I stood in line for 25 minutes just to buy some lettuce and bread.

I figured that. That's why I went to Wally Mart on my way home from work at 5:30 this morning. Imagine what it would have been like if there were snow flurries.
BTW, I've never had a lettuce sandwich. What do you put on them to give them some flavor?

Re: NFL 2012 - Drive to Glory

In an interview with Shannon Sharpe that just aired, when asked what he would say to the families of the people murdered in Atlanta in 2000, Ray Lewis responded, "God ... does not make a mistake."

And afterwards, Phil Simms did this long rambling thing that essentially boiled down to "Ray Lewis was involved in a double homicide and he knows more than what he's said, but he paid off the families and he's good at football, so let it go, guys."

WHAT.

I think Lewis has essentially become a caricature of himself if that's even possible.

The citizenship part of football seems odd sometimes. It's no wonder some of these guys have such a high opinion of themselves: they're part of the very fabric of America.

Jim Harbaugh: That sure was a bad shank in Atlanta in the NFC title game.

Ray Lewis: But I wasn't even in Atlanta that day.
