Strictly speaking though, based on the thread title, neither Scarlett Pomers nor Hana Hatai were women during their respective series. They were little girls.
dude there is nothing creepy about it.

Scarlett is older than me, when i was a little 10 year old kid i had a crush on Naomi, she's aged with me.
The point I was making is the thread title refers to the 'hottest woman on Voyager', and at that time, Naomi Wildman was not a woman, she was a small child.

Of course we all know how old she was then, so it should be self-evident that the thread title was not meant literally, but as a figurative device, something akin to irony. It's playing on the paradox, the dichotomy between our mental image of Scarlett Pomers as a child aboard Voyager and the reality that she's now grown into a stunning woman. Maybe it's a bit of an awkward way of conveying that, but I could see the figurative intent right off the bat.

Men are lazy creatures.

If we can't tell if a woman has tits, or what sort of tits she has, because she's wearing any clothes at all, we might even judge her by her personality and the quality of her character.

Well it's been a few years since I've had a pair of live ones right in front of my face, so I may be forgetting the awe and excitement of those days.

MAN! If I was 20 years younger I'd ask out her mom.

Or you could just date her grandmother.

Could someone please update Pomers IMDB page... It still says that she is staring in Reba.

She could update it herself.

I managed to contact a college friend from 40 years ago through IMDB. I did it through his agent, specifying it was not a job offer.

I always had a crush on Samantha Wildman (yes, I said Samantha, not Naomi. I am pushing 43, ya pervs!). I don't see this changing anytime soon.

On a related note, the hottest woman on DS9 was Molly O'Brien.
As with Naomi, the actress who played future Molly in "Time's Orphan", Michelle Krusiec, is way hotter and less creepy:

How is Hana Hatae creepy?

^ Maybe it's because a lot of us remember her first appearance on DS9 when she was, what, two or three years old?

Re: The Hottest woman on Voyager was Naomi Wildman

All this "creepy" stuff is missing the point and needlessly judgmental. Nobody's saying they were attracted to these girls when they were children. They're saying that they're striking now, as adults. It's been a long time, over a decade, since DS9 and VGR ended. A lot has changed, and it doesn't make any sense to keep thinking of these women as if they were still children. They're adults now, and the thread is about them in the present, not the past. It's ridiculous to say it's creepy to be attracted to a woman just because she used to be a girl. That would make it creepy to be attracted to anyone, ever.

And yet when you hear those stories where an older guy hooks up with a 20 something they knew when the 20 something was a child and the older guy was an adult everyone goes EWWWWW...

^ And nobody goes eeeewwwww when it's an older woman hooking up with a younger guy, do they?

The problem here is that when your first memory of someone is as a very young child, it's hard to see them as any other than that. Especially when you recognize the name right away.

But presumably none of us knew Scarlett Pomers or Hana Hatae back then. We just saw recorded images of them projected on our televisions. Nor does any of us have any realistic prospect of hooking up with them. We're just looking at more recent pictures of them.

But that memory is, let's face it, pretty darn old. DS9 premiered twenty years ago. That's nearly half my lifetime -- and a considerably larger fraction for a lot of other people on this forum. Is it healthy to let our perceptions in the present be so dominated by such antiquated memories?
