Actually, it's funny you should ask that... There is a truly legendarily awful series of fanfic which are, almost fetishistically, centred around this character and including almost every child character ever featured on Star Trek TNG.

Regarding Mr. Giotto from a few pages back, I remember a scene from The Disinherited (TOS #59) where Kirk and Commodore Wesley of the USS Lexington are having a viewscreen conversation - Wesley notices Giotto on the bridge and makes a comment to the effect of "Who is that good-looking guy there? I need to get him transferred over here!"
