Have I missed it, or do we know what the mission will be to get the Ambassador?

In Honor of the Ambassador, I'm re-watching Yesterday's Enterprise for the first time in decades. It should be fun.

It's amazing, how much Romulan resembles English?

It was never going to be a science ship. it is a cruiser.
Sorry, I meant to say it's not much of a science cruiser.

It has a LC science station. how much more science cruiser can she be?

Ok, they gave her an Ensign Science station and just 2 science consoles (needs a good deflector then and science Doffs on every deck).
but I guess that is just acknowledging that it needs some dps to be competitive.

I remember falling in love with the Ambassador class the first time I saw it in "Yesterday's Enterprise". I mean, I love the Galaxy class, but the Ambassador class just feels right. It looks strong and sturdy, while managing to be graceful yet functional at the same time.

And now we'll have our own Ambassador class ship! tee hee! *squeeeeee!* *ahem* Um... which is very good.

It really is a beautiful blending of TOS and TNG

Re: Star Trek Online Discussion Thread (now free to play!)

I've felt for a long time that the Ambassador was created by using morphing software to get from the Constitution refit to the Galaxy, but stopping halfway through the change and using what was on the monitor.

It'll be nice to have it in game, though I doubt I will use it much on my Fed character. The Kamarag, on the other hand, might be a reasonable ship for me on the KDF side.

SF Debris did a deconstruction last week. Which is great timing.
