Re: NuTrek spinoff series: you're the producer
Seriously, apart from Alt-Bones and Alt-Spock, most of the NuCrew are painfully bland. |

I don't mind the movies but we don't need a T.V series retreading old ground. |

Re: NuTrek spinoff series: you're the producer
Kirk - Just as big a jerk, although he is easier on the eye Spock - A Vulcan with serious anger and ethical issues (an intimate relationship with a student) McCoy - He was pretty decent, though didn't have much to do or any real development (I'm hoping for more in STID) Scotty - He was pretty decent as well (but then again I am Scottish and do love Simon Pegg, so a little biased) Sulu - Again they didn't do much with him, except give him a very cool sword Uhura - She became shrill, moody and scrawny (not exactly development) Chekov - He reminds me of Wesley (just with the bad accent), which is never a good thing

![]() No. Anyway... Do the show on premium cable. Naked Zoe Saldana. Just a thought.

Re: NuTrek spinoff series: you're the producer
Anyway, I'd have a Garak spin-off series. My favourite character in all of Trek .

Re: NuTrek spinoff series: you're the producer
*which is a complete sham requiring fairytale levels of willing suspension of disbelief to keep it all together - despite the constant referencing back and forth, each incarnation of Trek has fundamental incompatibilities with the rest.

There's a single English word that covers this: "denial."
