Re: Your Top Five DS9 Supporting Characters
![]() Sorry to be a party-pooper but I find Fontaine and Paper Moon dull. But I get why people like him and that episode. |

Re: Your Top Five DS9 Supporting Characters
Anyway, if Garak counts he's the obvious #1, so I'll leave him out: 1. Kai Winn Might be the most realistic politician I've ever seen in a TV show, not counting the last few episodes. 2. Gul Dukat Maybe the most realistic dictator. 3. Sloan I love duplicitous characters the most. 4. The Prophets Every time they show up it's a little awesome 5. Weyoun With Fontaine, it's not Fontaine I had a problem with, so much as everybody's obsession with him. As a brief diversion, sure, but the obsession with him wasn't well explained. |

Re: Your Top Five DS9 Supporting Characters
1) Garak 2) Nog 3) Dukat 4) Weyoun 5) Morn If I'm ranking "credit where credit is due," I don't know how I'd do it, but Kai Winn is certainly up there. She's like the Joffrey Baratheon of the Star Trek world, you just wish someone would make an hour-long Youtube video of Kira and Sisko slapping her in the face to Led Zeppelin. ![]() It really does go to show that she played a slimy character excellently. |

Re: Your Top Five DS9 Supporting Characters
Lwaxana Troi (I just found out that she was originally intended to have a recurring role that was on par with characters like Rom and Nog, which would've been awesome) Dukat Winn Adami Martok Damar

Re: Your Top Five DS9 Supporting Characters
1) Dukat and Damar (no way I can split them, and these are my top two characters of the entire cast including regulars) 2) Weyoun 3) Keevan (the other named Vorta; only on twice but great impact) 4) Martok 5) hurray for Rom! (though Moogie isn't bad either) ... I'm hearing a lot of people ask, what, no Garak? Don't get me wrong; fantastic role, great actor, and I loved how he interacted with the other characters. But the character itself just annoys me.

Re: Your Top Five DS9 Supporting Characters
He was played with a great quiet dignity, but at the same time a slightly irreverent sense of humor right under the surface that prevented him looking stuffy. Loved the way he refused to let Winn wind him up and would have made a nice marital match for Kira.

Re: Your Top Five DS9 Supporting Characters
Martok - Best Klingon ever written Garek - Best Cardassian ever written Wayoun - Best Vorta ever written Nog - Not the best Ferangi ever written but man his character journey is one of the most underrated arcs in the series Gul Dukat - In the first and second seasons he was the best Cardassian written.
