Very much a Stover and Stackpole fan. And if KRAD doesn't write another Trek novel soon, I'll be going into withdrawal.

If you haven't played them, you might want to try to find Interplay's old 25th Anniversary and Judgment Rites computer games. Stackpole was one of the writers on them.

Had a lot of fun with both back in the day. Most of the old Interplay Trek games were a lot of fun.

I like the idea of Stover and Stackpole and Zahn, from Star Wars; similarly I'd add Aaron Allston.

I bet Lois McMaster Bujold would write a kicking Trek book too.

I like a lot of the suggestions so far. I'd like to see David Weber write one. Also I wouldn't mind ones by Cory Doctorow and William C. Deitz.
