you would think they'd be smart enough to know there would be nothing dangerous or harmful in there?

This is about as low as reality TV gets, next to Toddlers & Tiara's

The video is telling me it's been blocked for copyright reasons. However, I have seen the show before, and I have to disagree that it's low reality TV on the level of Toddlers and Tiaras! Shows like that are depressing, but this show is just a funny little game, that while it isn't a masterpiece, it isn't really contributing to the depravity of humanity or culture either. Kind of like the show Wipeout. Just some silly fun, and I like it. And yes the people are overreacting, but I'm sure they choose the crying wimps for a reason.

Don't worry, I've been well aware of MXC for over a decade now, I love the show. Wipeout isn't as good of course, certainly nowhere near as funny, but as far as ripoffs go it could be worse.
