Counselor, Please Report to The Trek BBS

Would you speak to Counselor Troi concerning a personal problem?

Rank the following Troi associates from the one you'd most desire to counsel you, to the one from whom you'd least desire counseling:

A) Lwaxana Troi (mother)

B) Will Riker (husband)

C) Thomas Riker (ex-boyfriend; circa "Second Chances")

D) Worf (ex-boyfriend)

E) Mr. Homn (servant)

1. Homm - because we could be knocking back drinks during the session.
2. Worf
3. Will
4. Tom
5. Lwaxana

BTW, nice avatar, ferret face.

(offtopic) I'd read that Larry came up with some the insults thrown at him in The Swamp, I wonder if 'ferret face' was his too.

EDIT: Yeah, in fact his own brother invented it.

Worf would make the perfect counselor.

No matter what my problem, the prescription would be bloodwine.

They're all Skip. I think the kid is from Boys' Ranch (1946, at 15 or 16), his second film. The cowboy is from The Gunfighter (1950, 20) with Gregory Peck. The monster is where I first noticed him in The Outer Limits: Expanding Human (1964, 34), and of course, Melakon (38). He's about 6 months older than Shatner and Nimoy. I didn't include his Dr. Sevrin in case someone was already using the handle.

The idea was to give a short look at his career. I couldn't find a good picture of him from The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.

Re: Counselor, Please Report to The Trek BBS

He retired in the early 80s, last appearance in 1982, and apparently moved on with his life, leaving Hollywood behind. No convention appearances. Still alive though.

There are a few board members who are psychotherapists. I'd just assume PM one of them.

Skip Homeier had a great voice. He could have done well doing voiceover work. If he'd wanted to.

No Guinan?

I think Zephram Cochrane had the right idea: tequila. If it’s served by Guinan, you can’t go wrong.

Re: Counselor, Please Report to The Trek BBS

I've never been much for psychiatrists; they've never been help to me.

If I had a problem I'd go to Riker. He seems to me like he'd give me the most objective view of the situation and not make me feel so bad for having a problem that I needed to talk to someone about.
