What episode is the most unreferenced?

I suspect this question is virtually impossible to answer but lets take a stab at it - what episode of any series do you think is the most unreferenced in Trek Literature?

"Shades of Grey" (TNG)

I suspect this thread will turn into someone mentioning an episode, and then the encyclopedic experts coming up with the few times it is actually referenced. Which sounds like fun!

Surely an Enterprise episode, since so few people watched it through.

Would have to be an average episode, terrible episodes get referenced a lot

^ I concur; ENT usually only gets minor references here and there, not really any episodic references to say, Demons or Terra Prime. Maybe the occasional Xindi War reference.

Erm... Enterprise's Columbia NX-02 featured heavily in Destiny, the biggest thing to happen to Trek novels in a very long time. Enterprise references are everywhere in Trek lit.

I'd say the least referenced is.... "The Magicks of Megas Tu". Or possibly "The Infinite Vulcan" (Bring back Giant Spock Clone!!)

The Torias one. The shuttle accident that kills him is related to the Excelsior's transwarp experiments.

Threshold also gets a very brief reference in Homecoming, when Mark's wife Carla asks Janeway if she ever thought of having children. Janeway considers bringing up the lizard babies but wisely decides not to...

I don't think "The Alternative Factor" has been referenced in any tie-ins... no, wait, there is one Strange New Worlds story that features Lazarus.

The Torias Dax story, "Infinity" by Susan Wright, has Torias (Dax's shortest-lived host, killed in an accident 6 months after joining) lose his life testing the same transwarp theory seen in "Threshold," as part of the development of the Excelsior's transwarp drive in the TOS movie era.

I read 'Infinity' too. Whoops! Though my comment was more of a statement of hope, as the Janeway/Paris amphibian mating thing always freaked me out.

I enjoyed 'Infinity' though. Dax's hosts always seemed interesting.

I'm pretty sure DRGIII said he referenced all of the TOS episodes and movies, and maybe the TAS episodes, in the Crucible trilogy. So if we're looking for something that's never been referenced I think we need to look at the later series.
