Beautiful! I hope it includes a lot of David Bell's work :-), but I'm looking forward to all the tracks. I hope it sells really well and fast so that they can do Enterprise next and hopefully another TNG (I'm still screaming for "The Arsenal of Freedom" and "Peak Performance", "The Hunted" and "Power Play" and more from season 1!!! :-). Thanks so much LaLaLand, you'll have my $50.- the moment you take orders!

Bell's work could be considered repetitive but I really liked his scores. There's lots of brilliant music between seasons 4-7 and I hope it doesn't emphasize too much on the sonic wallpaper of the early seasons.

Really looking forward to this set.

Speaking only for myself, I'm thrilled that we're getting another comprehensive collection of scores from DS9. La-La Land, you've got my $50.

Well, since you beat me to posting more or less the same comments, you can speak for me too.

But only this once.

...I'm in, too! Bell was a refreshing change from McCarthy and Chattaway, so I'm also hoping to hear some of his work on this album. Looking forward to the release!

I'd be interested in hearing Bell's work. The score I most want to hear, though, is Paul Baillargeon's "The Siege of AR-558." It's one of the few melodic scores that Rick Berman allowed through during the ten year period between firing Ron Jones (1991) and Enterprise (2001).

I can live without any of Bell or Baillargeon's scores. I desperately want McCarthy's score for Way Of The Warrior and Chattaway's music for Call to Arms.

Since this is a 4 disc set, do you think they'll devote one disc per composer?

Music from "The Way of the Warrior" is part of the second volume of The Best of Star Trek::

True, however the TNG Volume 1 collection also included some music from previously released albums. Plus the Best of Album didn't include the entire score from Way of the Warrior. McCarthy is my favorite composer overall, however I do hope that they give a lot of disc time to Bell and Baillargeon, as well as some of John Debney's scores. I'm quite sure though that McCarthy and Chattaway will likely have one disc each.

I really want (amongst others) the closing ten or so minutes from What You Leave Behind. The montage score (with the nice little nod to "Minstrel Boy") all the way up to the closing credits.

And it probably won't happen, but I would love for them to find a way to include the Vic/Sisko duet "The Best is Yet to Come". (They had Nana's Fever on a previous CD, so it's not an impossible dream. )

Personally, I'd rather have complete episode scores than having only 6-8 minutes from each episode...

I agree completely, I was just assuming it will be along the lines of the TNG set with multiple episodes and only a few minutes featured from each.
