Nowadays my daughter does more Christmas baking than I do, but she doesn't like gingerbread so never bakes it. I love it, so I make some every year.

I was pounding Sam Adams and shots of Jack last night. My friends didn't think to take any pics of it, though, because they were doing similar and grabbing our phones to take and post photos wasn't exactly a priority.

Very cool. I had forgotten that emu eggs were that color.

Most large bird eggs we see in zoos and museums up here tend to be from ostriches.
