Re: Worst lines of dialogue in the entire series?
This probably belongs in the 'unjustly hated' thread, but I have no problem with "The Alternative Factor". It's pretty much the only ep I can point to Kirk actually saving not just the galaxy, but the universe. |

I actually use it all the time at work.

Which episode was that in? Makes me think of "Double Secret Probation."

Re: Worst lines of dialogue in the entire series?
True Story: I've always wanted to tell Gorshin how much I enjoyed his performance in LTBYLB...I was waiting on a guy once, and this woman who worked with me was telling me how familiar he looked. I was like, "enh." Then after he left, she figured out it was Gorshin...not too long after he died. (sigh) |

Re: Worst lines of dialogue in the entire series?
Incidentally, the "double red alert" is from Conscience of the King, when they are evacuating that sector of the ship as the hidden, overloading phaser is about the explode. Hell, I'd call a double red alert, too, if there was a phaser nearby about to blow. ~ Atoz

-Elaan Took me a few viewings as a kid to realize she wasn't stuttering.

Re: Worst lines of dialogue in the entire series?
"Destroyed Kirk? No! We are INVINCIBLE! Look what we've done! Your mighty starships! War toys to be CRUSHED AS WE CHOOSE!" But the worst line that really makes me hate what I'm watching? "Believe me, it is better to be dead than to live alone in the body of a woman." |
