Okay, I'll bite. Who is "Laas"?
Here you go.
Thanks. I confess I have no memory of this guy.
Don't feel bad, neither do I.

Actually, I hear those holiday parties on Kirk's Enterprise were the best. Remember Helen Noel?

I totally love the notes about that episode which state, among other things, that J.G. Hertzler derived Laas' method of speaking from William Shatner, also the note about "And then the Swedish guy comes in..."

And why is Zarabeth not on this list?
It looks to me like all the choices are adversaries. Maybe the Original Poster prefers spending holidays with enemies.

Laas is just another jerk changeling with a superiority complex. Yet with a surprisingly soft side towards Odo.

Q's son, PARTY ON!!!!!

The Borg Queen while fascinating to stare at would be an awful conversationalist.

teacake: Champagne?

TBQ: An inferior attempt at perfection.

Everyone else would be WAY too stodgy.

Re: Break Out the Champagne

I couldn't handle Marta. Waaaaay too much.

But yes the list has only one woman. This needs fixing.

I vote for the Kelvan Kelinda. Hot, gullible, and eager to learn new things.
I'd instruct her on the human tradition of 'starting the New Year off with a bang'.

The Federation became friendly with the Kelvans at the end of the episode. And Laas wasn't an adversary, per se.

Not all the Kelvins though. On DS9 Worf once mentioned a battle he fought a Kelvin.

He was bragging about standing in battle against Kelvins twice his size when he was trying to get O'brien's baby to stop crying.

Q's Son.

If I could get on his good side, I think he'd make the most exciting night. Might even come out of the experience with a few Q-tastic gifts.

Souvenirs, you should always request those from Q.
