Best first Episode for a Five Year Old
(I showed him Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and he liked it. But I think Attack of the Clones would be a bit much for him yet)

Re: Best first Episode for a Five Year Old
That is the first ep. I can remember. I seem to recall that one being played on tv constantly when I was a kid. Ha!

If you want to instill to your five -year-old that all things are possible, show him/her/it SPOCK'S BRAIN. Nimoy proved it's not necessary to have a fully connected noggin in order to express one's viewpoints. However, if you want to drive home that life is full of crushing disappointments, go straight to BY ANY OTHER NAME. |

Re: Best first Episode for a Five Year Old
We also watched the Star Wars movies in order of IV-VI/I-III and are now working our way through the Clone Wars, but we waited until she turned 6 to do that. My eight year old niece had never seen Star Wars, but she snuggled up next to me on the couch for all 7 hours of the OT and never moved a bit, except to look at me in awe during the "Reveal" in Empire.

Re: Best first Episode for a Five Year Old
Then Tribbles :-) I really liked your The Rise of Khan books, btw. I plan on reading To Reign in Hell eventually, too.
