![]() At this point, isn't Uncle Ben the only person in that universe who stayed dead? |

Sadly some of the fans don't get that for some reason hence why we get Spider-Man selling his marriage to Satan. |

Re: Amazing Spiderman #700
Stepping back from that, Marvel needs to have SpiderOck fight all the major players in Spidey's rogues gallery to show how different and superior SpiderOck is. (DC did that with both Jean-Paul Valley and Dick Grayson; during their tenures as Batman, they battled all the major villains.) Plus, Otto fighting Green Goblin would be entirely different than Peter fighting Green Goblin; the animosities are similar, but for different reasons. There's interesting ground to cover, that's for sure. But I don't see it as a permanent change to the character because it's not something you can easily explain.

Re: Amazing Spiderman #700
If Bruce Wayne can die and come back then Peter Parker can come back I'm thinking "Superior Spider-man" will be a battle between Ock and Peter over who can be the best. Somehow Peter will survive. Maybe the golden octobot holds peter consciousness

Re: Amazing Spiderman #700
Peter is not dead, Bruce Wayne didn't die either, he was sent through time, and nor did Johnny (he was merely trapped in the Negative Zone and thought dead by Ben).

Re: Amazing Spiderman #700
Peter's memories are in his body, but #700 explicitly showed that the golden Octobot was unable to physically connect with the body in order to transfer Peter's full imprint back in. Due to Spider-Ock's neck armor, the bot was only able to "wirelessly upload" Peter's memories. That bot should still be out there, but now with no one's consciousness driving it since Peter-in-Ock is dead. |

Re: Amazing Spiderman #700
Kaine won't be a factor in this IMO. He has a story of his own going on right now. Although it will be interesting to see if they have Superior encounter Scarlet Spider at some point since Kaine was responsible for killing Otto the first time I believe Or at least snapped his neck, I don't know if that was retconned though when they brought Otto back. I believe Peter will return well before "Amazing Spider-Man 2" comes out.

Re: Amazing Spiderman #700
![]() Normally I wouldn't have bought such an expensive book, but I'd been looking forward and planning to buy Amazing #700 for quite some time anyway. So yeah I budgeted it for it and like I said above, don't regret it at all. I'll most likely be getting the Dying Wish hardcover when it comes out in the spring time too.
