Re: Favorite blatant contradictions
But it get worse, Tom was able to get back to Voyager whilst travelling at Warp 10, so in theory should have been able to get back to Earth. The EMH would be unaffected by travelling at Warp. So in theory they could have piloted Voyager home at Warp 10 and let Starfleet reverse the adverse effects. Sorry I've just ended the show.

Re: Favorite blatant contradictions
I think for the torpedoes it's reasonable to think they found a way to replace them later. But yeah, in general it feels like the writer of each episode had never watched the show before. And the sad thing is, the ones that seem most like that are often the best episodes. Another one I noticed, Blink of an Eye. "We're not ready to join your time frame yet." Why not, ten seconds later: (Planet stops spinning fast) "We're ready now!" Last edited by JirinPanthosa; December 29 2012 at 01:21 AM. |

It never happened! It was just a nightmare Paris had after eating too much Leola Root stew or drinking too much of Neelix’s coffee.

I'd actually say your post is the most "hating" one on this thread.

Re: Favorite blatant contradictions
Voyager tells a lot of really good stories, and has a lot of good characters. But it also, quite regularly, did a poor job on fact consistency. They didn't even keep an accurate count of how many crew members were dead. I'm watching Collective right now, and Janeway explicitly said she'd been to the homeworlds of two of the children. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but didn't they come across every single one of the children's homeworlds afterward? So, were these childrens' homeworlds both behind and in front of them then? |

Re: Favorite blatant contradictions
Rather than adding months she should have found some busy trade route and negotiated or paid someone going that way to take them home. After vetting them for suitability of course. It's bad enough stopping to take nebula readings every five seconds.
