Re: Season TWO OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Discussion Thread
Stop going through these episodes and scrutinizing them frame-by-frame looking for mistakes!

Re: Season TWO OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Discussion Thread
I had an issue with the planet Gravesworld. This is a screencap of the planet - http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/File:Gravesworld.jpg. When I see this image, I imagine a person focusing a flashlight beam on a globe. It looks unreal, and is very noticeable in the episode. As for the shot of the nacelle, what is wrong with the image? |

Re: Season TWO OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Discussion Thread
There's that shot of the Enterprise leaving orbit of a planet where the saucer cuts cut off by the "edge of the screen" even though some of the background lays beyond it. I find that shot hard to really see in the actual episode. Sure the crappy-looking 2-footer model is used and THAT is noticeable but the effects problem a little less so. Even more so the edger of the viewer cutting a bit into the wall of the ObsLounge. I mean some of these findings are a bit damn tiny and petty.

Re: Season TWO OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Discussion Thread
And watching this season for the first time in a while, I'm finally starting to appreciate Pulaski more as well. I remembered her always being kind of cold and unlikeable, but she actually warmed up quite a bit as the season went on. In fact her scenes and dialogue in "Icarus Factor" were probably the best part of that episode. |

Re: Season TWO OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Discussion Thread
I'm sure there must have been others, but I'm having a hard time remembering any. And yeah, I realize the show was filmed in LA, but in-universe it still seems odd there weren't more sprinkled throughout the ship (I'm not counting the accent Sirtis tried to hide while playing Troi, of course). |

Re: Season TWO OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Discussion Thread
I think it's great that they're airing though. I have no interest beyond watching the episodes so it was either watch them on TV or download. I'd rather the former so I can at least support the project financially in some small way. |

Re: Season TWO OFFICIAL TNG Blu-Ray Discussion Thread
I was watching some reruns on TV and noticed the two-foot model at the end of an episode like that. Before that I thought it was just looking odd because of the remastering, or being in HD, or maybe even being a quickie CGI job. But it's the model. |
