How does this impact on May Parker, the Spider-Girl of the Future?

Are we supposed to believe now that all through her ten years of adventures that her father by her her side was and always had been Otto Octavius?
That's always been a different timeline, Marvel-1122. (unless you were being facetious, I apologize)

I have never been silly in my life!

I'm just remembering all the trouble Stark went to wipe his memory, 6 or seven atomic powered super scrubbers, spread out across the world, he had to fight his way through a chore of rouges galleries to access, before he was comfortable enough to imprint himself with a backed up version of his personalty he felt safe with, even though he was unaware that it had been compromised by the Mandarin which turned him into a wind up toy soldier.

There are no new readers. All the "new reader" are just returning readers. I think they can all figure out who Dr. Octopus is.

Besides I don't see how tying something to your new jumping on point promotion to attract said returning readers into story lines that actually need you to go back and read old stuff to know what the heck is going on doesn't defeat the purpose of the promotion.

That was to wipe all the national security data including the superhero registration database and prevent Osborn from accessing it.

Mephisto already fixed the marriage.

I know why, I'm laughing at how.

All that herculean shite Stark went through; yet Doctor Octopus could have done accomplished the same dealio with one gold Octodrone in a New York minute.

What utter garbage.
Nope. Slott is doing excellent work. #700 (and Avenging #15.1, for that matter) was great story-telling, and I can't wait to see what's coming in Superior Spider-Man starting two weeks from now.

You do realize that not being able to attract new readers is a bad thing, right?

You do realize the problem with gaining new readers isn't content, but rather that comic companies have been cut off from the main avenues where they previously were able to gain them.

Content and its accessibility to new readers is a problem. Getting back into those main avenues is fruitless, if someone picks up the book and it reads like some convoluted, self referential in joke written in a secret language.

I am in total agreement with Pyscho Pere. Slott still hasn't let me down, and continues to have my trust and am fascinated to see where this story takes us.

Re: Amazing Spiderman #700

I recall years ago, back when Spidey had a propper secret identity, and he had to give evidence in a court of law, it seemed that Stark had his brain patterns on file so that could double blind confirm his identiy.

Re: Amazing Spiderman #700

He did, as House of UIster mentioned Stark wiped those files from his mind so that Norman couldn't gain access to them, also the patterns that might've been included in any database. All of the superhero registration act information is gone now, theoretically. Norman was furious because in addition to acquiring Stark's armours, it was that database that he really wanted.

I am starting to suspect that this is a slow undoing of Mephisto's deal and Dr. Strange's spell. I could be wrong, but there have been theories since the conclusion of Spider-Island that Slott has slowly been "undoing" the deal. This could be just a plot in achieving that goal.

Not sure why people get so worked up by these things. Everyone knows they are never permanent. So long as this arc doesn't end with Peter in the afterlife meeting Uncle Ben and bringing Uncle Ben *WITH HIM* back to life I got no problem.

Uncle Ben is the last true 'nobody stays dead except for...'
