I'm one of the odd-outs in that I would rather see Planes than Cars any day of the weak. Thinking specifically of an old Tex Avery cartoon where the planes are sentient (though they co-exist with humans) and the old WWII bomber has a kid that turns out to be a jet.

Its an old kids cartoon about the adventures of a mini Jumbo Jet plan, and his long suffering controller (of London Airport). Jimbo is small becasue he was built in cms instead of inches.

Think Dennis the Meance but as a plane.

Obviously this should be Pixars next film project

having re-watched the trailer, I just cant see it as a cinema movie, unless this is the worst trailer ever for a really good movie.

I have to say I'm even less keen about this than before now that it's going to be a theatrical release. Cars was great fun but Cars 2 wasn't even a little bit of fun. I can't say this has me excited at all. :-\
