It's from no earlier than January 16, 2006, because the photos of me that are in that collage were taken the night before.

(No, my memory's not that good... but I'm an email pack-rat, and it only took me a second to find the email Robert J. Sawyer sent me the next day, with the photos from the party he threw on the 15th. )

Yeah I was going to say, I don't think I began posting immediately so I wouldn't be surprised if it was later on. I felt lost here for a long time and I remember that being one of the first times I felt acknowledged!

Munich is only about 90 mins by car away from my town. If you like we could meet next time you're in the vicinity. I used to have a weekend job in Munich and at Munich airport as a meet&greet person and tourist guide, so I could show you around a bit.
We'd have to stick with English, though. My French is only very basic (sufficient for greetings and for reading a menu, but not for a real dialogue). French kissing is a totally different matter, though
