The cynic in me wants to cry 'fake' but, as you rightly say, some artists are supposed to be able to do this.

I had a math teacher in high school that would go on and on about his perfect circle drawing skills. He was pretty good at it.

he propably was pretty bad in bed... In my experience men prefer to brag about their abilities in that particular field. Only if they have nothing to brag there, they'll concentrate on other physical activities (like drawing circles). In the worst case, they'll buy a BMW or Porsche.

If that gif's not been fiddled with, I'll bet the guy had to draw a lot of ugly lopsided circles first, before getting it dialed in.
