Re: The 2 Minute Trailer?

Saw the Hobbit tonight in 2D (loved it!) and did NOT see the Trek trailer.

Unfortunately.

Saw the trailer before the Hobbit, but only the short version. And it didn't work in 3D.

So from what I'm reading here in the above comments, the 2-minute one did not make it out with any copies of the 3D or 2D versions of The Hobbit.

Ah well, I can watch it from home on my latptop as many times as I want.

The 2 min trailer is shown in front of the Hobbit, just not in every theater. There are people who have seen it.
But as you say, tomorrow we'll have it on our computers.

Re: The 2 Minute Trailer?

Speaking of The Hobbit I just found this
By The Asylum of course.

In an age long ago, the last village of clever, peace-loving Hobbits is attacked and enslaved by the Java Men, komodo-worshiping, dragon-riding cannibals. Now the young Hobbit Goben, along with his father and sister, must seek help from the “giants” (human hunters) to find the Javas’ lair and rescue the last surviving Hobbits, Goben’s mother among them. In their quest to destroy the Javas, the heroic partnership of humans and Hobbits will transform both species forever.

I guess that court order just served to give them a ton of publicity, then

They keep making them so I assume someone watches.
I only managed to watch 10 minutes of their Transformers rip-off before I couldn't take any more.

Re: The 2 Minute Trailer?

If we go by when the announcement teaser came out (around midnight Pacific time) we've got about 6 and a half hours to go.

My HFR 3D showing of the Hobbit did have the new trailer - it was a far better trailer than the teaser for the trailer. And none of the BWWAAAOOM sound effects that I can recall.
