Secondary eye candy

Sometimes a less well known actor catches my eye. Since I was between 15-18 when I first saw TOS, often it wasn't necessarily for their acting skills.

Two were Carolyn Nelson as Doris Atkins, and Lois Jewell as Drusilla. Not sure why, because r/l me prefers brunettes.



Anyone other than the main cast ever wetten your whistle? Did a lowly extra ever pipe you aboard? All genders welcome.

I'd go for Yeoman Zahra from OPERATION ANNIHILATE instead. It's surprising the flying blobs didn't have her back like they had Spock's.

I think there's already been a thread or two mentioning Leslie Parrish as Lt. Carolyn Palamas, a character James Blish repeatedly called "the traffic-stopper."

Everyone in TOS was psychedelic eye-candy Primary and secondary; male & female. I loved how most of the redshirts looked like they'd be happy on Venice Beach. If twist my arm for favorites, I'd have to say Mulhall/Miranda/Deela for charisma, and Andrea/Droxine for Ware Theiss wear.

I think Melakon, in the initial post, was asking about people with very small roles, not the guest stars. We allllllll know about wonderful Sherry and Leslie. Who else, though, the ones with just a few lines, or none at all?

Yes, I was thinking in terms of all those walk-ons and one-line players who rarely get any attention. But with a topic like this, it's going to stretch in different directions. I'm also curious if female members here had a similar crush on random redshirts. David L. Ross (Galloway) was one of the more frequently seen, but a lot of redshirts were really athletic stuntmen like Jay Jones, who memorably stepped on an exploding rock in "The Apple"(the stunt put him in the hospital).
