The Goodies! Terribly, terribly silly and much, much loved.

London a most unlucky place. Only last night my tube was delayed by Adipose. I would love to put Cambridge in a Trek book and perhaps one day I will get to do that.

Well, at least most of the giant monsters go after Tokyo instead. There was that Gorgo incident, however...

New York gets all the superheroes (Marvel Comics). London gets all the alien invasions (Doctor Who). Tokyo gets the giant monster attacks (Godzilla). Los Angeles gets the Demons and Vampires (Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel).

Hmm. Any more Cities of Hats we can come up with?

The Quatermass movies were pretty hard on London, too. And let's not forget Lifeforce!

Riiiiiight.

Dollars to doughnuts it's the nekkid chick, Mathilde May. Those of you in the know will smile and nod in appreciation of that buxom young lady who remains blessedly nude throughout the movie. Those of you NOT in the know, www.celebritymoviearchive.com is your friend.

Enjoy your Friday.

Courtesy of the Ice Warriors, (at least in the Virgin Doctor Who books).

One thing I like about this forum... we start off discussing the destruction of London in a new Trek movie, we end up diverting into hooking Christopher on The Goodies!
