You just need to reassign your bridge officers again.

How do I advance in rank in the fleet? I've been a Cadet for awhile and I contribute to the projects.

I think you have to be promoted by other fleet members.

I thought I had already (re) assigned my officers, but I'll check next time I log on. If that fixes it -- thanks!

I just checked, and I my officers are assigned to their respective duty stations, but there are still no special abilities available in space combat. Hmm. I must be doing something wrong...

This happened to me once. Go to a spacedock and switch your ships. reassign your crew. then switch back to the old ship and reassign. That fixed it for me.

That fixed it. Thanks. And, as it turns out, I have a few officers with better abilities than the ones I had assigned before!

Well I decided to pick up the flurry, this thing is awesome now if only I could shoot something other than the snowmen with it.

Can I ask if you are getting more reward items when you use the snowball gun during the snowmen events?

Don't even need to do that. Just go to your status screen and replace them. It just needs to change from before for each one (ie, it needs a new boff/None before you change back).

I don't think so, but I also don't know if the number of snowmen you kill has any effect on the rewards.

I do know it makes killing snowmen easier.

Doesn't appear to matter, as long as you kill at least one. I was instance-hopping this morning, and during the event, got in on at least half a dozen battles. they just call them out in zone chat, and go from one to the next. If I didn't kill any, i didn't get a reward, but as long as you get one and get the 'battle' music, you're good.

Would be nice if they fixed the pvp race so you can't cheat. Ran it this morning, and took an early lead, no one ever passed me. got to the end, only the 2nd place banner remaining. Took about a minute afterwards to find that there's a clear path to just go off the track and right to the end, must have been what was done. Kinda lame.

Also, what do you do with the Epohh tags? running the BOFF mission, but otherwise? do i need more stuff to kick off the breeding thing? No idea haven't done it on New Romulus either.

You need Epohh research to buy a baby epohh, with that you can start rasing it. Same for the christmas epohhs.
You get the reasearch from Doffing by putting in epohh tags.

Got my Cardassian toon outfitted with winter clothing, and the Neuropulse lirpa for my Caitian, but beyond that, I really don't need any of that stuff. I might just mess around there one day for fun, but I'm not after that ship or anything.

I can recommend the ice boots.... they let you run a lot faster at the cost of traction and are quite fun. When you use them on the ice lake in winterwonderland you are actually ice skating with proper animations.

Plus now that they don't have a timer you don't have to keep buying them.
