Re: First Poster

I assumed they were just blades to stir and mix the constantly churning warp plasma inside the Bussard collectors.

Or maybe the production team just thought they'd look cool.

Yeah, I hope I got pretty close.

This would look good as a poster, wouldn't it? Maybe I'll make one tonight.

-Ricky
Pretty damn close. It was sunny though
Man, if that's true, I'll probably freak out.

-Ricky
It was a rear view (camera near nacelle), but I'm guessing we'll get a front-side "beauty-shot" when we see the actual movie

Wow, that's going to be cool! Is this in the 1 minute trailer, or the 2 minute one?

I think I saw the one-minute version, or at least it felt like only a minute long...

Was there some discussion that the Enterprise would end up being underwater? If so, I hope they do a scene like this.

Re: First Poster

See, why can't the actual studios make posters like this most of the time?

Oh, BTW, I like your Abrams Enterprise "Cars" avatar. Warp Speed McQueen?

What they said.

See this is what I'm talking about: I see that on a theater wall, I'm wanting to see the story. It stands out from the flock of other posters, and it's framed in such a way that 1) it looks amazing even if you aren't a Trek fan 2) If you are a fan it packs even more punch. The studios really need to Madman on the payroll.
