Strange how Jenna looks rather middle eastern in that poster.

And the snowmen seem fine. Certainly no worse than scarecrows, gel guards, or killer dept store dummies.

Cut them some slack, obtaining the legal rights to use the Yeti would probably be too much trouble. After all, the Yeti belong to the same guys who created the Brigadier, and they or their estates (one of them, I think is dead) forced RTD and the gang to jump through a lot of hoops to get the Brigadier on SJA.

I like the look of the snowmen, though my expectations for the episode are at rock bottom. And why are all Moffat's Christmas episode titles ripped off other things? At least he's not given it exactly the same title like A Christmas Carol, but it's still close.

What do you mean? "The Snowmen" sounds like a pretty standard Doctor Who "named after the villains" story title, like "The Daleks," "The Krotons," "The Ice Warriors," "The Daemons," etc. What are you saying it's "close" to?

BBC Press Office now has a time: BBC1, 25th December, 5.15pm (to 6.15pm). Guess they're centreing the schedule round ensuring Call the Midwife (7.30pm, with Eastenders following) beats Downton Abbey.

I'll take Downton Abbey over Call the Midwife any day. (I hate episodes of regular TV shows that feature childbirth scenes. Why would I want to watch an entire series of this...

...but without the joys of Worf in it?)
