Kind of like how STXI undid the existence of all prior Trek canon, amirite?

Oh, wait...

This should read "They should get to the future, find that Jean and Scott are dead as a result of The Last Stand, and also discover that movie audiences don't watch credits in the future."

And Admiral Young would be ecstatic!
"Will Singer Ignore The Last Stand"? [/TrekBBS Meme]

"No, He'll UNDO it"
And undo much of X-Men Origins: Wolverine too. A way to restore the character of Deadpool.

The leaked "Deadpool" script already did this, and I'm sure the re-writes will still retain that bit.

This awesome news!

At this point, I'll be more surprised if Hugh Jackman doesn't return as Wolverine. I would also be very happy if Kelsey Grammer returned as The Beast, the one good thing about The Last Stand. And I'm all for undoing that piece of garbage.

Matthew Vaughn actually cast Kelsey Grammer as Hank...that's why he's only one of the good things about...that movie

I'd be pleased to have Grammer back as Beast as well. Surely being on a solid show like Boss keeps his status/profile elevated enough to make that happen. Provided he is willing to come back of course.

With so much news and juggling of getting Jennifer Lawrence due to Catching Fire does anyone remember when filming was slated to start? I kept thinking April/May, does that sound right. If so we could anticipated leaked set photos shortly after that.

I wouldn't call Boss "solid" anymore. Starz didn't renew it for a third season.

Ditto. Can't remember much about TLS but felt he was sorely under-used. Did he even have any scenes with Stewart or McKellen?

I very very happy about this. It will be interesting to see how exactly this will tie into the original trilogy. I'm assuming since the universe is supposed to be more coherent, and The Wolverine is apparently building off of TLS that they won't completely ignore it. I could see them maybe undoing it like some of you guys said, but I doubt they'll completely ignore it.

"Deadpool" is still in development yes. I don't believe a director has officially been attached or announced yet though. Last I heard they were trying to get Robert Rodriguez, but that was some time ago and of course he has started filming "Sin City 2".

According to this the film starts principal in April of next year.

Nope. They should have had him depower Magneto, or something.

How do we even know that the time travel will be, to put it in ST terms, single-timeline?
