Had a great Thanksgiving with my family. We had a turducken, which I've never had before. It was tasty. Not quite as tasty as the desserts...lots of pies to choose from.
Of course. If this was ancient rome though we'd have stuffed the chicken with a truffle stuffed hedgehog.
And you will now be very close to many day worthy travel destinations. Oneida lake, Finger lakes, Alexandria Bay and Sacket's Harbor (both on the St Lawrence on your side of the border), as well as Rockport, Gananoque, and Kingston (all on the St Lawrence on our side of the border), as well as all of those Thousand Islands. Hope you get to see some of it.
It was a lovely evening. A bottle of wine, Merlin on the TV and a pizza in front of a log fire. Wonderful.
Definitely looking forward to visiting all the places you mentioned. I have done a lot of traveling but I have never been to Canada. So I'm really looking forward to be close enough that we can drive to visit.
My son's are huge, I mean HUGE Avengers fans. Often my older son Ian will tell us that we MUST call him Captain America. They often play together as Captain America and Thor, so I surprised them today with their respective costumes. I can't tell you how excited they were and they wanted to go outside immediately and play Super Hero Squad. Even though it was dark, we went outside and I captured a few pics. Ian as Captain America and Aaron as Thor Aaron as Thor, God of Thunder Ian as Captain America, the First Avenger The both of them just happy
