Well, sure, he wants to torment her but I also think he wants to marry her. Not out of love or anything like that, obviously, but for whatever his greater goal is in all of this.

A super villain wants to marry Batgirl? Man, that's never been done before!

Does DC?
It's what ever the people doing the rebooting say it is.

Justice League has been good since Jim Lee left the book. I guess he really was co-plotting because the last two issues since he's been gone have been great. Oh and the last page on Justice League #14 was awesome Also Tony Daniels art has been remarkable.

Wikipedia lists a number of one-shots and limited series, such as Phantom Lady, National Comics, and The Ray, which they say are part of the new 52 continuity, but they don't have the New 52 logo on them and I'd never even realized they existed. Can anyone confirm that they are indeed part of the new continuity?

Those might've been cancelled books.

The Ray was definitely New 52. Not sure about the others.

Ray/Phantom Lady were minis and the National Comics were one-shots in the Nu52. I personally recommend the Kid Eternity One-Shot.

I'm not sure that all of them, or any of them really, were canceled. The Ray for example seemed to just be a miniseries. I was expecting that The Ray would show up in another book though. He would've been a good fit for Justice League International, but that did get canceled. Granted if the Ray mini really took off with readers it might've have gone to a full series but I don't think that was the intention.

Re: DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

The Ray and PhantomLady/Doll Man were books by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, the writers on the pre-52 Freedom Fighter book. Those two minis were probably there to lay the groundwork for a new Freedom Fighters team.

National Comics was not in the New 52. They were completely stand alone and outside of continuity. That's why they had a completely different take on Madame Xanadu than the one shown in Demon Knights.

Question: Is it bad that the only new 52 series I have any use for is Aquaman when I wouldn't have given an Aquaman comic the time of day before this nonsense?

Re: DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

Wonder Woman is my favourite 52'Verse book right now. It has slowly climbed over "Batman" and "Action Comics" the past year. I just love everything that Azzy is doing with the character and the book. I love the Cliff Chiang artwork as I've said before, and the artists used in issue 14 were great as well. To me this is one of the breakout books of the New 52. I've always been a Wonder Woman fan, but have never really followed any of her books on an ongoing process before. I'm also going to be picking up the New 52 Justice League action figure this weekend.

@Admiral2...no as has been stated by a few of us in this thread "Aquaman" is a fan favourite. It's one of my favourite books as well.

There was no Madame Xanadu. You are thinking of Madame X. Completely different character.

Fine, just as long as Geoff Johns doesn't throw in a bunch of multicolored Aquamen or something equally stupid cause then I'm gone.
