Re: Cumberbatch's 'Instrument'

Well Sherlocke did not convince me, in fact I found looking at him uhh.. kind of unbearable.

But yes, I am always open to being convinced that someone is hot. Even someone I thought of as the anti-hot. My preference would be to be able to see EVERYONE as hot and though I think I come close some days there are always surprising folk who don't make the grade.

Re: Cumberbatch's 'Instrument'

Is it possible we'll see Kirk getting slapped around the face with Cumberbatch's instrument?

I suspect we'll see Cumberbatch's use of his instrument in some sort of wrestling scene in the Federation's only baby oil producing facility before Kirk gets the scene ending money shot; Spock appears behind Kirk and gives a gravely injured Kirk some mouth to mouth resuscitation before taking him back to the big E where, after Kirk recovers, they discuss the matter playing 3D chess in the onboard bar, The Blue Oyster.

Cumberbatch's instrument becomes revered across the Alpha Quadrant and the final scene is some hand to hand combat, with Spock, with Cumberbatch deploying his instrument at Uranus......

That moment one realises they've lived with crude, crass and relatively cretinous people in Antipodean 'bliss' for too long.....

Re: Cumberbatch's 'Instrument'

I came in here expecting to find a climactic conversation about horn blowing...

Instead, what I come upon, appears to be a bunch of skin flutes all outta tune, attempting to out-perform each other while creating a cacophony of Jizz.

I feel sooo dirty.

"Instrument" is an an actor euphemism for skills/ability/talent/technique. All he's saying is Cumberbatch is a really good actor.
Yeah but it's funnier to ignore that part. Dya really think Pine was unaware of how that sounded?

Same here, but it's just one movie and there are plenty of guys who are much prettier in it. You can always cross your eyes or squint when Cumberbund gets a closeup to lessen the trauma.

Australian fans have had a running gag about "Joachim's control of his instrument" ever since Judson Scott used the exact same expression during his session at Con Amore, Brisbane, 1985.

We thought it might be a Julliard thing.

Exactly! But unfortunately that photo does run the risk of encouraging a new round of comments disparaging his appearance, from certain quarters ... again.

Sounds like they all had a gay old time making this movie.

'Engayge'

I bet there's fanfiction about that on Tumblr. There is about everyone else. *shrugs*
