I'm not dead, just been epically busy. and a uni course that involves loads of drawing saps the fun from it a bit.

however:

sketchy sketchy side view. will probably do a top view too actually. hope this helps people figure her out

something else coming very soon if i can get photoshop to stop crashing..

well i wouldn't think so, but the defiant did and that was pretty small, so who knows. i doubt i'll be doing deck plans

All ships need a captain, so i present Captain Meldrick:

Based on my star trek online character that hasnt been used in months and may no longer exist after my computer played up. His ship was called uss Hotspur. Internet points for knowing where the names came from.

fancied a change from ships. people are tricky to draw. especially blue ones. i was going for a look of mild annoyance, like you might have if forced to babysit a tedious ambassador. also a floating breathing apparatus seemed like a cool idea

(try to ignore the horrible background)

Shuttlecraft Galileo of the Enterprise F.

quick sketchyness drawn with just a pen and lack of pencil-planning stage hence the roughness. and then badly coloured in photoshop.

Sort of 50% shuttlecraft 50% 1970's italian sportscar. just wanted to inject a bit of sexyness into the humble shuttle. whether i pulled that off or not is open to debate haha

Hmm, I actually like that one quite a lot. Is it intended for the STO Enterprise F? Because I think the curves fit the overall massively cetacean lines of that big 'ol space whale quite well.
