Jeri Ryan in Lost?

I was just watching the extras from my Lost Season 1 dvd set when I encountered the following deleted scene:

Is it my imagination or is the blonde woman being portrayed by Jeri Ryan?

Obviously doing an Australian accent but even so, it sounds like her...

I can see the resemblance, but I'm sure it's not her.

Now that would have improved the show.

That is the sort of role she would end up with unfortunately. I would have liked to have seen her as a savage and bedraggled Other but she seems more likely to be a flashback person or scientist.

Here's an idea they could have cast her as Julia. I hated Julia, I HATED HER but if Ryan had played her everything would have been different. It would have been beautiful.

Yes and that's something rather nice.

The only character I liked on that whole show was Locke who I liked immensely.

Jack Ryan, i think that was his name ran against Obama for Senate but some of his divorce papers were misteriously leaked. She wanted to force Jery Ryan to have sex in sex culbs.
