Would a black slaver or a concentration camp chief be controversial?

In A sci fi setting of course. Let's say the director does not want to portrayblack people negativly he just cannot imagine anyone other then Ving Rhames/Samuel L. Jackson/Tony Todd in the role.
Would there be a controversy?

By slaver i don't mean someone who enslaves humans.

Why should there be? People of all races have done terrible things to their fellows. Plenty of Black Africans who ended up as slaves were sold to Whites by Black or Arab slavers.

Mace Windu was complicit in the removal of very young children from their families and their isolation and indoctrination into his religion.

Compared to genocide, this is nickel and dime shit.

What exactly was Leia "Princess" of after Grand Moff Tarkin frakked her homeworld?

I think you'll find she was Princess Royal of the Alderaan asteroid field...

She was a Princess in exile. She still had a people, but no planet.

The bigger question is, how could she be a princess when her dad was a senator not a king? (and wasn't actually her dad).

Given her actual dad was dark Lord of the Sith, does this mean she's technically a dark Lady of the Sith?

Her adoptive mother was a Queen, that's why she's a Princess.

Besides, padme was a democratically elected princess in her youth, and later in the second movie a Senator. Was Leia a Princess or a democratically elected princess?

Sith Lord is a religious position that isn't succeeded through bloodlines, even if they are rank with midiclorines.

I'm sure she knew that her adoptive mother was a Queen long before ROTJ. She grew up in a palace or something. Her adoptive father, Bail Organa was the Queen's consort but also a senator.

Also, Alderann isn't Padme's world. The royal titles could be solely for women, I suppose. One can be pretty sure of the mom, after all. Daughters, adopted or natural, may carry titles on Alderann for all we know.

Okay I dragged myself through the EU swamp that is Wookipedia and apparently Bail Organa was the Prince and his wife only became Queen after marrying him. Don't ask me why she has a higher status title, it doesn't say. Maybe it's a matriarchal planet. Bail is all kinds of political things besides being a senator and presumably he was elected to them, though I would assume the privilege of his birth had a hand in that. Leia became a Princess when she was adopted. She became a Senator presumably in her own right.

Re: Would a black slaver or a concentration camp chief be controversia

btw a SW friend told me that Lucas invented the name Leia though obviously there are differently spelled names with similar sounds. Looking at this site though it suddenly appears in 1977

http://nametrends.net/name.php?name=Leia

Actually her mother was the Queen. Bail was just the Queen's consort and Prince which lends credence to Alderaan being a matriarchy.
