Babette's Feast.

You can almost feel the heat of the stove while watching that film.

I wouldn't say hungry per se, but Zombieland really put me in the mood for some Twinkies - which you can't really get here...

(except for specialist mail-order)

^Hmmm. Are you sure it was the movies that were making you hungry?

Ocean's Eleven doesn't make me hungry but it always makes me want to have a glass of Scotch.

That's how I learned the phrase "to have the munchies..."

I can't think of any movie that made me hungry, but Steel Magnolias put me off red velvet cake for a long time. Bleedin' armadillo cake.

Re: Films that made you hungry.

I can't think of any movies that have gotten me hungry... I've tried a lot of new foods I otherwise might not have because of movies I've seen, but never actually been made hungry.

Novels and short stories are a whole different ball game though - there are times when I'm reading something and the author describes not just the food but the internal monologue of the characters eating and it is just visceral.

Waitress. That one gets to me too. I've never seen a pie diner before but the one in that movie was cool.

That one. And I'm not even much of a chocolate-loving person!

Every time I watch it I long for a proper, thick, chocolate drink...
... shared in bed with a certain handsome young man

Well, at least I do (long for, I mean, not share *sigh*)

Vegans tend to be lower in fat content.

Got my November issue of Total Film today, one of the pieces of mail in the dialogue section asked which movies made you hungry as you watched. The chili dog scene in Point Break was suggested.

Oh yes, Keanu Reeves and Nathan Filion; enough to make any woman hungry!

A wonderful film, watching her at work was marvelous!
