The only time differing american accents get on my nerves are when they are far against type. Say, a texan character with a Boston accent or a New York italian character with a california surfer accent. But either of those characters with a "generic american" accent would be just fine.

Slight digression but that always bugs me about 9/10ths of the David E. Kelley shows. So many of them are set in Boston but none of the main characters (with the exception of first season Bobby on "the Practice") ever has a New England accent, let a Boston one.

The irony is that Norman Reedus' most notable role prior to being on The Walking Dead was playing an Irishman in The Boondock Saints
I'll always think of him as Scud from Blade II.

So was creepy science dude wearing sleaves of duct tape while they were hunting walkers? seems like such a simple precaution

Makes me want to see a spin-off of TWD with MacGyver and how he's coping in this zombie apocalypse.

I'm hoping to someday see Micchone smile.
You're looking at it... about 6 seconds before she hacks up Woodbury's Geek collection
Yeah, but I don't want her to smile at me like that.

Maybe Rick & company will find the town, and through their meddling, it'll get destroyed just like the farm was and the governor will be put down.
That's kind of my expectation....

How about a French Captain with a British accent?

Jeez, you people. You act like Rick and his people are agents of the apocalypse and every place they try to settle down will be destroyed.

I'm sure Hershel would vouch for them as a stabilizing influence.

No?

How about Jenner?

What?

Perhaps Ed, Jim, and Amy???

I think just Rick is the harbinger of death. The hilltop group was doing just fine until they brought Rick back.

Even before that, the group searching for provisions was put in extreme danger by helping Rick.

I'm going to guess that Woodbury is going to fall on its own. The hubris on display there will very likely end up with them being destroyed, and not because of anything Rick does.

I think their settlement will be overrun by a zombie herd, and that will draw the remaining survivors toward the prison.

Daryl continues to be the most awesome character on this show. "Little Asskicker" is totally a great name.

He's probably the most valuable member of the group in what he's able to bring to the table.
