The fundamental nature of this universe is that the zombie plague is an unknown that can't won't be answered. It's not a plot point, the interactions of the survivors are. If anything, I hope that they don't ever decide to explain anything about the plague. It's here, it's happening, it won't ever be cured. Deal with it.

The constant incorrect spelling of Merle's name is starting to drive me crazy.

Goddamnit! I was so looking forward to a Merle/T-Dog reunion.

But i liked how the show plays with my expectations. Lori died a lot sooner than i expected her to, and T-Dog lasted a lot longer than i expected him to.

The Woodbury stuff is boring me already.

Andrew Lincoln killed that last scene!

It's a real pity because I was hoping that both Lori and the baby would die.

Kids and babies present real problems plot-wise and are fairly annoying to boot. Just think how badly Carl sunk the show in the first two seasons, and now we have a freaking baby. Now everything's going to be about the baby, who by the way will be so great to have around when the zombies are attracted to noise.

Bad call. I actually suspected that the writers would have had Lori have a miscarriage or something, but instead they went with actually having the baby. Sigh.

Having the baby die would have been the easy way out for the writers. I'm glad it lived for precisely the reasons you listed. It adds complications and complications make for good stories.

I think you guys are all being too hard on Andrea. She's just a flirty southern woman who is flirty with everyone. Even Michone. (or am I the only one picking up the lesbian vibe there?)
I was hoping she would reach over a plant a kiss on Michone

Yes, he does.

If I was Rick, I'd be going through prison records to find out what these guys were in for. If I was going to make his "non-negotiable deal", I'd base it on the answer.
when will he have the time? And now with Lori gone and carl and a new born to think about, Axel is probably not even a thought

Just got done watching this episode. Wow, that was like an incredibly grim, depressing version of TNG's "Disaster".

their keeping the baby around so they can kill her off later for shock value

Another really good episode but they seem to be killing too many characters off, is anybody safe?
The baby won't be in it much longer how can it!

What are they gonna do when the baby is screaming its head off and Walkers are attracted to loud sounds.
